Program Information

The Mississauga Lady Jays is Mississauga’s only all-female softball association!

Our House League is open to girls ages 4 to 21.

The season runs from May until early-September for U9 to U16 and from May until the end August for U7 T-Ball and U21.

All of our divisions are based on the player’s age as of December 31st of the playing year. For example, if you are registering for the Summer 2026 season, the division is based on the player’s age as of December 31, 2026.

 

The 2026 Season Divisions and Eligible Birth Years are as follows:

U7 T-BALL 2019, 2020, 2021
U9 2017, 2018
U11 2015, 2016
U13 2013, 2014
U16 2010, 2011, 2012
U21 2005 to 2009 with one 2004 player allowed per team
   
Season Format

U7 T-BALL – Wednesday evenings @ 6:30pm consisting of one game per week.

U9 – Tuesday and Thursday evenings @ 6:30pm consisting of one game and one practice per week.

U11 – Monday and Wednesday evenings @ 6:30pm consisting of one game and one practice per week.

U13 - Tuesday and Thursday evenings @ 6:30pm. Most scheduled games are one per week with some instances of two games per week to balance the schedules. Every attempt is made to schedule practices and games on different days.

U16 - Monday and Wednesday evenings @ 6:30pm (after July 1st, some games may be scheduled at 8:30pm). Most scheduled games are one per week with some instances of two games per week to balance the schedules. Practices are scheduled based on diamond availability.

U21 - Tuesday and Thursday evenings @ 8:30pm with weekday practices scheduled based on diamond availability.

Uniforms

U7 T-BALL – uniform consists of one jersey and one cap.

U9 – U13 – uniform consists of one jersey, one pair of pants, one pair of socks and one cap.

U16 & U21 - uniform consists of one jersey, one pair of pants, one belt, one pair of socks and one cap.

****Please be advised all players in all divisions must provide their own helmet (U9 and above require that the helmet have a cage) and softball glove.

Coaches for our 2026 season have not yet been determined.

HOUSE LEAGUE "BRING YOUR FRIEND" FREE CLINIC NIGHT

We’re always looking to grow the game we love and are always encouraging new girls to come out and play and have some fun. This is the perfect chance to bring your friends and experience the fun of playing softball! The Mississauga Lady Jays will be hosting several "Bring Your Friend" nights as part of our existing clinics on select dates.

If you are interested in bringing a friend to participate in one of our clinics, please complete the attached waiver form and bring it along with you and your friend to the night(s) you wish to attend. Additional forms will be made available on site at the time of each clinic.

Please print, sign and bring the following liability consent waiver form to each clinic.

THE SCHEMBRI AWARD

This award is applicable to U15 House League players only.

The Schembri award was donated by the Schembri family in memory of their 13-year-old daughter Tania who was diagnosed with cancer during the season. She passed away in 1995 during the winter off season. The award is presented to the player who shows perseverance and dedication to not only her team, but to the game itself.

The winning player receives her name engraved on the trophy, her own plaque and a free registration that must be used the following House League playing season.

The deadline for all submissions is August 15th for the current playing season.
