Become a Select Coach

Anyone can apply to become a select coach!

The coach selection process involves several stages designed to identify and select the best candidates for the coaching positions. Overall, the process is lead by the Director of the Select League and supported by the other executives. Shortlisted candidates may undergo interviews. These interviews assess not only technical qualifications but also cultural fit and interpersonal skills. On occasion, candidates may be asked to complete assessments or tests to demonstrate their abilities. Finally, after thorough evaluation, the chosen candidate receives a notice of selection and, upon acceptance, begins the onboarding process. Throughout each step, communication and transparency are practiced ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and the league.

Program fees

The participation fee for the Select Program includes a fixed registration fee (set in August) plus budgets that vary by team, but it generally ranges from $500 to $800 per player.

All participating players must pay the fee before being eligible to participate in the program. Players are also required to register for house league play, and the costs associated with house league registration are in addition to the Select fees indicated above.
